Basketball Recap: Gabe Clark Key Part of a Team Effort in Wildcats Win

Andrews won the last time they faced Hayesville and things went their way on Friday too. The Andrews Wildcats came out on top against the Hayesville Yellowjackets by a score of 49-42. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Andrews' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabe Clark, who went 5 of 11 en route to 15 points and six rebounds. Clark is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last four games he's played. Ty Clark was another key player, going 6 for 11 on his way to 15 points and eight boards.

Andrews' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6. As for Hayesville, they now have a losing record at 10-11.

Looking ahead, Andrews will face off against Swain County at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hayesville, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 73-24 victory against Highlands on the 8th.
