Baseball Recap: Northview Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Northview can now relate to. They fell just short of the Jay Royals by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Chiefs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Northview saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Smith, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Northview moved to 11-12 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Jay, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-10.

Northview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jay, they will face off against Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Royals are facing the Jaguars at the right time seeing as the Jaguars are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
