Basketball Recap: Lakeside Falls Despite Big Games from Hallah Peone and Tyson Charley

It was a good run, but Lakeside unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to the Inchelium Hornets 80-74. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (66), the Knights still had to take the loss.

Lakeside's loss came despite strong showings from Tyson Charley and Hallah Peone. Charley posted 28 points along with seven rebounds and six assists, while Peone went 10 of 13 en route to 22 points. The match was Peone's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Furyous Louie, who had ten points.

Lakeside's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2. As for Inchelium, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Lakeside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 82-53 win against Wellpinit on the 4th. As for Inchelium, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-48 victory against Yakama Nation Tribal on the 4th.
