Basketball Game Preview: Church Farm Griffens vs. Delaware County Christian Knights

The Church Farm Griffens will head out on the road to take on the Delaware County Christian Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Delaware County Christian is hoping to do what Collegium Charter couldn't back in December of 2024: put an end to Church Farm's winning streak, which now stands at three games. The stars were shining brightly for Church Farm in a 62-44 win over Collegium Charter.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Delaware County Christian). They breezed by Faith Christian Academy to the tune of 88-61 on Tuesday. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 22 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Delaware County Christian and bumps their season record up to 9-1. As for Church Farm, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Things could have been worse for Church Farm, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 66-51 loss to Delaware County Christian in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Delaware County Christian's Khamai Orange, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 14 rebounds.
