Stratton piles up the points against Flagler

Recap: Stratton Eagles vs. Flagler Panthers

The Stratton Eagles stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 74-37 win over Flagler. The win was familiar territory for Stratton who now have five in a row.

Stratton had a senior duo take command as Cyler Notter scored 12 points along with three steals and Rustin Williams scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ethan Bohnen, who scored seven points.

Despite the loss, Flagler saw an underclassman step up: Keegan Isenbart scored 23 points. It was the first time this season that Isenbart scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Hill, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.

Stratton is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Flagler, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Stratton will head out on the road to challenge Burlington at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Averaging 61.27 points so far this season, Stratton's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Burlington better be ready for a challenge. As for Flagler, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bethune at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Flagler is on a six-game streak of home losses, Bethune a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
