Recap: Olentangy Berlin Bears vs. Hilliard Darby Panthers
The Olentangy Berlin Bears were the 54-29 winner over the Hilliard Darby Panthers when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Olentangy Berlin fell to Hilliard Darby 42-38. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Olentangy Berlin came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 77th, while Hilliard Darby is ranked 268th).
Despite the loss, Olentangy Berlin still got an impressive performance from Cami Elliott, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Fate, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and two steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Olentangy Berlin and nudges their season record down to 13-4. As for Hilliard Darby, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.
Olentangy Berlin will be playing at home against Buckeye Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hilliard Darby, they will head out on the road to take on Upper Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Upper Arlington is coming into the contest hot, having won their last nine games.
