Volleyball Recap: Southmoore Takes a Loss

Southmoore extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 7-23. They came up short against the Stillwater Pioneers, falling 3-0. If the SaberCats were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Pioneers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Stillwater, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-11 record this season. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0).

Stillwater was led to victory by Taylor Rattay and Kael Valdois. Rattay had 24 digs and three aces, while Valdois had five digs and four aces. That's the most aces Valdois has posted over her last seven matchups.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Southmoore will square off against rival Edmond Santa Fe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Stillwater is set to challenge their familiar foe Mustang at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
