Travis Howman posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Scituate is 4-1 when Howman allows one or fewer earned runs, but 1-2 otherwise.
