Basketball Game Preview: Fife Trojans vs. Steilacoom Sentinels

The Fife Trojans will square off against the Steilacoom Sentinels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fife will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Fife was able to grind out a solid win over Eatonville, taking the game 54-47.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Steilacoom). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Tyee 82-51. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Steilacoom's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-12. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Fife, their record now sits at 9-10.

Everything came up roses for Fife against Steilacoom in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured a 77-49 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fife since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
