Soccer Recap: Sterling Comes Up Short

Sterling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carnegie Vanguard Rhinos. That's two games in a row now that the Raiders have lost by exactly two goals.

Sterling's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Carnegie Vanguard, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.

Looking ahead, Sterling will head out to square off against Austin at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Carnegie Vanguard, they will square off against Milby at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
