Soccer Recap: Albemarle Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matchups, Albemarle finally came back down to earth on Monday. They came up short against the Union Academy Cardinals, falling 9-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Union Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in September.

With the defeat, Albemarle broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 8-8. As for Union Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2-1 record this season.

Albemarle will square off against North Rowan at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Union Academy, they will challenge Central Academy of Technology & Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
