Basketball Game Preview: Prairie Falcons vs. Evergreen Plainsmen

The Prairie Falcons will take on the Evergreen Plainsmen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Prairie's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Last Tuesday, Prairie didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Mountain View, but they still walked away with a 60-55 victory.

Meanwhile, Evergreen had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They took down the Hilanders 61-47. That looming 61-47 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Plainsmen yet this season.

Prairie pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.7 points per game. As for Evergreen, their victory bumped their record up to 7-12.

Prairie came out on top in a nail-biter against Evergreen when the teams last played two weeks ago, sneaking past 67-65. Will Prairie repeat their success, or does Evergreen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
