Basketball Recap: Obama Academy of International Studies Takes a Loss

After flying high against Carrick last Wednesday, Obama Academy of International Studies came back down to earth. The Obama Academy of International Studies Eagles fell to the Taylor Allderdice Dragons 59-53. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, with their most recent loss being a 46-38 defeat back in January.

Leading Taylor Allderdice to victory were Keith Taylor and Lukas Stead. Taylor went 7-for-13 to rack up 16 points and six steals, while Stead dropped a double-double with 15 points and 14 boards. The dominant performance gave Taylor a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Zuckerbraun, who posted five points.

Obama Academy of International Studies' defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Taylor Allderdice, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-9.

As of now, neither Obama Academy of International Studies nor Taylor Allderdice have any future games scheduled.
