Recap: Terry Bulldogs vs. Jim Hill Tigers
The Terry Bulldogs waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with five straight wins but they left with six. They strolled past Jim Hill with points to spare, taking the game 52-33. Given Terry's advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 39th, while Jim Hill is ranked 143rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Terry's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Madison Jones, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Elisiah Branson, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
Terry has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Jim Hill, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Terry's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Hattiesburg at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Jim Hill will take on Forest Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
