Soccer Recap: St. Joseph Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous three meetings between St. Joseph and Mountain View, and Mountain View kept the tradition alive. The St. Joseph Bulldogs lost 8-3 to the Mountain View Yellowjackets on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 7-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

St. Joseph now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Mountain View, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Joseph will head out to challenge Conway Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mountain View, they are taking a road trip to square off against Riverview at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
