Basketball Recap: Spanish Fort Takes a Loss

Spanish Fort was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 55-41 fall against the Gulf Shores Dolphins. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Toros this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-45 two weeks ago.

Spanish Fort's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Gulf Shores, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-12 record this season.

Spanish Fort and Saraland will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Saraland will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Spanish Fort surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gulf Shores, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Baldwin County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
