Beach won the last time they faced Long County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Beach Bulldogs snuck past the Long County Blue Tide with a 55-50 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Beach to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden Newton, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 18 points. Another player making a difference was Chandler Reid, who posted 14 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.

Long County lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jonathan Talbert, who had six points and three blocks. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in blocks. Kelvin Hayes was another key player, putting up eight points.

Beach's win bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Long County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.

Beach didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-60 defeat against Windsor Forest on the 14th. Long County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
