Volleyball Game Preview: Laney Buccaneers vs. Green Hope Falcons + Official Tickets

The Laney Buccaneers will head out to challenge the Green Hope Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Green Hope took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Laney, who comes in off a win.

Laney is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Corinth Holders.

While Laney won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-23, 25-13.

Laney can attribute much of their success to Kinsley Nagle, who had 17 assists and nine digs, and Abigail (Abbey) Hendren, who had eight assists and two aces.

Meanwhile, Green Hope faced Green Level in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Falcons fell 3-1 to the Gators. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Gators recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Laney is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season. As for Green Hope, their loss dropped their record down to 21-3.
