Griffin DeLong posted a new career-high in runs on Wednesday. He scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Carolina Academy last Thursday, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. DeLong has become a key player for Brashier Middle College Charter: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-6 otherwise.

Looking ahead, DeLong and Brashier Middle College Charter will take on Landrum at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bengal haven't beaten the Cardinals recently, having gone 0-10 since March of 2017.
