Volleyball Recap: Founders Christian Comes Up Short

Founders Christian came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Banff Bears. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Bears when the teams met back in September of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Founders Christian was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-14, 25-10.

Founders Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Banff, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Founders Christian will take on Faith Christian at 4:40 p.m. on Friday. After both having extra time off, Banff and Spring Baptist Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on the 28th.
