While Aspen might've come up empty on Tuesday, Camron LaPointe wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the defeat, LaPointe was still locked in as he went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Aspen's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 4-10 when he doesn't).

Coming up, LaPointe and Aspen will take on Gunnison at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Skiers have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since April of 2017, but a win here would be a good start.
