Golden won the last time they faced Summit and things went their way on Saturday too. The Demons came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0. While the Demons didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Their offense was headlined by Trinity Simon and Allison Collins, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Dayton Ward and her 16 assists. Simon was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

The win made it two in a row for Golden and bumps their season record up to 6-3. As for Summit, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Golden didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Pomona on the 27th. As for Summit, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Conifer on the 27th.
