Basketball Recap: Northwestern Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Northwestern can now relate to. They fell 51-42 to the Prescott Cardinals on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-44 back in December of 2024.

Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Prescott, the win got them back to even at 12-12.

As of now, neither Northwestern nor Prescott have any future games scheduled.
