Milford has relied on a stalwart defense averaging 26.9 points allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They were dealt a 74-41 loss at the hands of the Franklin Lions. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Milford still got an impressive performance from Jaycee Rigsby, who went 8 for 16 on her way to 24 points and four steals. Rigsby is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cassidy Washington, who went 5 of 11 on her way to 10 points and eight rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Milford fell to 9-1. As for Franklin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.
