Basketball Recap: Quisto Sanchez Key Part of a Team Effort in Fightin' Jerseys Win

There's no place like home for Falfurrias, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Orange Grove Bulldogs on Friday, sneaking past 55-53. This was payback for the Fightin' Jerseys, who suffered a 90-44 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Falfurrias' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Quisto Sanchez, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 20 boards. The contest was Sanchez's third in a row with at least ten points. JB Barrera was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.

Falfurrias smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in three consecutive matchups.
