Volleyball Recap: Rocori Spartans vs. Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres        
        
		
             Rocori hadn't done well against Sartell-St. Stephen recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Tuesday. The Rocori Spartans put the hurt on the Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres with a sharp  3-0 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Spartans.
 One reason for the win was Rocori's dynamic defense, which allowed fewer and fewer points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19,  25-16.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rocori to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Mya Iten, who  had 30  digs. What's more,  Iten also racked up  no  aces, the mostshe's  had since back in August. Another player making a difference was  Quinn Hodgins, who  had 12  digs.
 Despite the loss, Sartell-St. Stephen still got an impressive performance from   Kaylee Rademacher, who  had seven  digs and three  aces.
 Rocori's win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 11-7. As for Sartell-St. Stephen, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.
 Rocori will look to defend their home court  on Monday against St. Cloud Cathedral  at 7:00  p.m. As for Sartell-St. Stephen, they will head out to  take on Detroit Lakes  at 7:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Detroit Lakes will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something Sartell-St. Stephen surely won't give up without a fight.
