Basketball Recap: Elk Grove Comes Up Short

Elk Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were dealt a 58-29 loss at the hands of the Addison Trail Blazers.

Elk Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 3-24. As for Addison Trail, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-16 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elk Grove will venture away from home to take on Wheeling at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Addison Trail, they will head out to face off against Berwyn/Cicero Morton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
