Mohawk Area waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sharon Tigers, sneaking past 67-64. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since February 28th.

Mohawk Area's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. As for Sharon, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mohawk Area will head out to take on Ellwood City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Mohawk Area's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games. As for Sharon, they are taking a road trip to challenge Iroquois at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
