Basketball Game Preview: Tussey Mountain Titans vs. Windber Ramblers

Tussey Mountain hasn't had much luck against Windber recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Titans will head out to face off against the Ramblers at 7:15 p.m. Tussey Mountain has given up an average of 53 points per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tussey Mountain is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against McConnellsburg on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Titans were dealt a 67-27 loss at the hands of the Spartans. The Titans were down 53-21 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Windber). They breezed past Glendale to the tune of 64-30 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Ramblers.

Windber's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Tussey Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Tussey Mountain was dealt a bruising 54-9 loss at the hands of Windber when the teams last played back in December of 2021. Thankfully for the Titans, Keith Charney (who shot 70% from the field en route to 16 points and four steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
