Basketball Recap: Fennville Takes a Loss

Fennville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost to the Watervliet Panthers at home by a 71-56 margin. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-37 back in January.

Fennville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Watervliet, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-11.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Fennville will take on Bloomingdale at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Watervliet, they will square off against Coloma at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Watervliet's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
