Basketball Recap: Sutton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Fairbury last Thursday, Sutton came back down to earth. The Sutton Mustangs lost to the Milford Eagles on the road by a 62-43 margin on Tuesday. The Mustangs have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Sutton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Milford, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Sutton will host Sandy Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Milford, they will head out on the road to challenge Wilber-Clatonia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Wilber-Clatonia: they have been struggling with six straight losses at home, while Milford has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
