Volleyball Recap: Jewel Beckwith and Madalyn Pistulka Secure Win for West Holt

West Holt took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Elkhorn Valley, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Huskies won by a set and slipped past the Falcons 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Huskies have posted since September 9th.

Leading West Holt to victory were Madalyn Pistulka and Jewel Beckwith. Pistulka had 19 digs and two assists, while Beckwith had eight digs and two aces. Those 19 digs gave Pistulka a new career-high.

West Holt has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. As for Elkhorn Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.

West Holt didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Laurel-Concord-Coleridge on the 24th. As for Elkhorn Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Lutheran-Northeast on the 24th.
