Baseball Recap: Logan County Cougars vs. Warren East Raiders
Logan County lost to Warren East back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars fell 9-4 to the Raiders. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.
Bryar Gaddis and Mason Hancock stepped up to the plate in a big way. Gaddis got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run, while Hancock went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Lyndon Wilson, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Logan County's defeat dropped their record down to 18-15. As for Warren East, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-18 record this season.
