Meanwhile, Summer Creek posted their closest win since March 1st on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past North Shore 3-2. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Torie Turner made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single earned run, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in February. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one double.
