Basketball Recap: Mt. Zion Comes Up Short

Mt. Zion lost against Manchester back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mt. Zion Eagles had to suffer through a 63-19 loss at the hands of the Manchester Blue Devils. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Manchester's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eriyanna Stallworth, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Rhinna Storman, who earned ten points.

Mt. Zion's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Manchester, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-8.

Mt. Zion has already played their next match, a 65-47 defeat against Bowdon on the 8th. As for Manchester, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 39-36 win against Trion on the 8th.
