Galax scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 76-56 to the Auburn Eagles. The defeat leaves the Maroon Tide without a win on the season.

Galax's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Auburn, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Galax has already played their next game (against George Wythe), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Auburn will venture away from home to challenge Giles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Auburn knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Giles likes a good challenge.
