Basketball Recap: Hickory Comes Up Short

Hickory was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 71-48 to the Granby Comets. The contest marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Hickory's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Granby, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Hickory and Ocean Lakes will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Granby, they will be home for the holidays to greet Manor at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
