Soccer Recap: Sweetwater's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Sweetwater was the 2-1 winner over Knoxville A when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Ambassadors by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The loss was Sweetwater's first of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of MARIAN ANGEL, who's now up to five this season.

Sweetwater's loss dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Knoxville A, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0-1.

Coming up, Sweetwater will look to defend their home pitch on the 11th against Polk County at 6:00 p.m. As for Knoxville A, they will head out to take on William Blount at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few goals on average (Knoxville A 0.2, William Blount 0.2) so any goals scored will be well earned.
