Volleyball Recap: Wilmington Christian Academy Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Wilmington Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Wake Christian Academy Bulldogs on Friday, falling 3-0. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-16.

Wake Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Evann Curry, who had nine digs and six aces.

Looking ahead, Wilmington Christian Academy will face off against Epiphany at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Wake Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Garner on the 12th.
