Baseball Recap: Drumright Comes Up Short

Drumright was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Regent Prep, falling 15-5. The Tornadoes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Regent Prep earlier this season, when they won 10-0.

Gavin Brimmer was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Austin Dinwiddie was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Drumright's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Regent Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Drumright will take on Olive at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Drumright will need to watch out since Olive has now posted at least ten runs in their last five contests. As for Regent Prep, they will square off against Liberty at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
