Basketball Recap: Aubrie Overly Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Crestline

Ridgemont won the last time they faced Crestline and things went their way on Monday too. The Golden Gophers strolled past the Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 49-34. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Gophers.

Ridgemont's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aubrie Overly led the charge by putting up 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Ramsey, who posted 11 points.

Ridgemont now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Crestline, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Ridgemont and Crestline will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Golden Gophers are set to challenge their familiar foe Cory-Rawson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Crestline will take on rival Mansfield Christian at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
