Softball Recap: Wayne Takes a Loss

Wayne's last matchup with Beavercreek could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Warriors came up short against the Beavers, falling 18-0. Having soared to a lofty 22 runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Wayne saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brogan Benson, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Beavercreek, their record is now 9-5.

While Wayne had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
