Metamora has gone 10-0 against Limestone recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Metamora Redbirds will head out to take on the Limestone Rockets at 6:30 p.m. Metamora has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 193 points over their last three games.

Metamora took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Pekin as Metamora made off with a 63-38 win. Given the Redbirds' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Dragons are ranked 298th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 76-41, which was the final score in Limestone's tilt against Morton on Wednesday.

Metamora's victory was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for Limestone, they now have a losing record at 11-12.

Everything came up roses for Metamora against Limestone in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 77-44 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Metamora since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
