Basketball Recap: Amber-Pocasset Takes a Loss

Amber-Pocasset suffered their biggest loss since November 17, 2023 on Friday. They had to suffer through a 94-52 loss at the hands of the Okarche Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 141st, while the Warriors are ranked 13th).

Amber-Pocasset's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-5. As for Okarche, the win keeps them at an undefeated 20-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Amber-Pocasset will head out to challenge Geronimo at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Amber-Pocasset is facing Geronimo at the right time seeing as Geronimo is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Okarche, they are taking a road trip to take on Calumet at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calumet is on a six-game streak of home wins, Okarche a 12-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
