Softball Recap: Ross' Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ross). They never let the Elliott County Lions get on the board and left with a 16-0 win on Wednesday. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by six runs or more this season.

Ross' victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-1. As for Elliott County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Ross will be playing in front of their home fans against Edgewood at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Elliott County, they will challenge West Carter at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
