Baseball Recap: Butler County Drops Season-High Score on Caverna

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Butler County). Everything went their way against the Caverna Colonels on Thursday as they made off with a 19-1 victory. The Bears have beaten the Colonels the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Colonels has come to flipping the script.

Butler County now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Caverna, their defeat was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Butler County will welcome John Hardin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Caverna, they will be playing at home against Thomas Nelson at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
