Basketball Recap: Cranston East Comes Up Short

Cranston East lost against Portsmouth back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cranston East Thunderbolts took a blow against the Portsmouth Patriots, falling 61-34. The matchup marked the Thunderbolts' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Cranston East has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for Portsmouth, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cranston East will welcome Hope at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Portsmouth, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Tolman at 6:30 p.m.
