Basketball Recap: Tri-Point Chargers vs. Lexington Minutemen
Tri-Point and Lexington squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Tri-Point had to settle for second. They had to suffer through an 86-32 loss at the hands of the Lexington Minutemen. The Chargers have struggled against the Minutemen recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Leading Lexington to victory were Blaine Friedmansky and Leo Davis. Friedmansky to rack up 13 points and five steals, while Davis made all 5 shots he took to post 15 points and three steals. Those 15 points gave Davis a new career-high.
Tri-Point's loss dropped their record down to 2-27. As for Lexington, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 25-7 record this season.
As of now, neither Tri-Point nor Lexington have any future games scheduled.
