Granite Bay has gone 3-0 against Davis Sr. recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Granite Bay Grizzlies will square off against the Davis Sr. Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Granite Bay and six for Davis Sr.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 81-44, which was the final score in Granite Bay's tilt against Folsom on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 439th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 20th).

Meanwhile, Davis Sr. had to suffer through a 86-48 loss at the hands of Oak Ridge.

Granite Bay will need focus on slowing down Jordan McMurray, one of several Davis Sr. players who made an impact when they last played. He posted seven points and seven rebounds. That's the most boards McMurray has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Gee, who scored eight points.

Davis Sr.'s defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Granite Bay, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 6-18.

Everything came up roses for Granite Bay against Davis Sr. in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured an 86-42 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Granite Bay since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
