Corvian Community had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 49-7 win over the Langtree Charter Academy Lions. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-0.

Corvian Community didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Anthony Staggs and Trey Dukes III. Dukes III got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Corvian Community's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Langtree Charter Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
